MAY 25th is the first day of the Memorial Day weekend and the market will be open 8am to 12pm. You can pick up meats, cheeses, pasta, baked goods and lots of fresh veggies and strawberries for your holiday entertaining. You will find a new market layout this season, and in addition to your favorite local farmers, and great food vendors , we have added more of each! We hope you will make the market your farm fresh destination each Saturday, to shop, get breakfast and/or lunch, and enjoy our live music, and special events every week. Become part of our fun, festive, family atmosphere and help us celebrate the eleventh season of the Ferguson Farmers Market. Start your holiday weekends at the farmers market, shopping for fresh veggies and strawberries. Check the produce availability list and make your shopping list for this weekend’s holiday entertaining. And don’t forget to pick up meats, cheeses, bread, baked goods, pasta and more. WILDFLOWER FARM returns with sheep shearing, and petting, along with Peggy’s one-of-a-kind garments. Bring the kids and grandkids for a great photo op with the lambs that were born a month ago. Plan on breakfast or lunch at the market, choose from made-to-order omelets, Christie’s Jamaican, or La Fuente Mexican food or the Becker Brothers BBQ booth. And don’t forget to save room to start or finish your meal with some of the yummy baked goods at the market. The Plain Label Band will be playing 9-11, so stick around and enjoy their toe tapping, lively music.
Our friendly farmers will be bringing strawberries, broccoli, asparagus, mushrooms, pac choi, green onions, lots of fresh lettuce varieties, spinach, leeks, chard, radishes, green garlic, cilantro, parsley, burdock, White Russian Kale, green tomatoes, beets, turnips, dandelion greens, herb plants and vegetable plants and more. We will have more produce each week now that Mother Nature has turned up the heat!
