THE FERGUSON MARKET FINALE!

We wrapped up the 2011 market season on Saturday October 29th, with 45 tents up, and hundreds and hundreds of customers enjoying the last day of our 27 week season.  We thank our local, friendly farmers for providing us with healthy, fresh produce and fruits all year.  The quality and variety of their products , along with their cooking tips, are the heart and soul of the farmers market.  Our market requires that all of the produce and fruits are grown by our vendors, within 120 miles of our market, and that they are picked within 24 hours of the market.  We encourage folks to Get Fresh. Shop Local.

We are grateful to our loyal customers, whose numbers continue to grow each year, and  for the support of our community, and the surrounding towns in the metro area. Customers come from far and wide  to the market, for the superior quality, as they become more and more  interested in healthy eating.  Our thanks to everyone who came regularly, and enjoyed the fun and festivites, along with the farmers!

Between 6am and 1pm each Saturday  a mighty crew of volunteers turns a parking lot  into a farmers market, and then  back into a parking lot again.  There could be no market without our loyal volunteer group, week after week, they are the reason the market runs smoothly.  We have gone from 3 volunteers the first year, to fifteen -  twenty in number this year, and as the market continues to grow, we would love the number of volunteers to grow, as well.

Thanks to everyone who supported the market this season, we’ll see you again  on opening day, May 5th, 2012.
