I am so excited to take over the Farmers’ Market Manager position from Kathy. I know I have some big shoes to fill but I am up for the challenge. I am a Ferguson resident; my husband and I are over in Pembroke. If it is nice you will find me in the yard or the garden. I love fresh vegetables and am looking forward to my fruit trees producing fruit this year. I work at the St. Louis College of Health Careers as an admission representative as well as serve on the board of the Ferguson Youth Initiative. I have a B.A. in Political Science and am working on a M.A. in Educational Leadership. My husband and I love to travel; we have visited ten different countries in Europe and are impatiently awaiting our five countries Christmas vacation this year. I am very lucky to have such a great husband who will volunteer with the market this year, as well. I truly believe farmers’ markets are the heart and soul of a community and I cannot wait to meet all of you, volunteers, vendors, business owners and the community. If you have any questions for me, drop me and email or Facebook post, otherwise, I will see you at the market. ~ Marveena Miller, Market Manager
