Founded in 2002, the award-winning Ferguson Farmers’ Market is now celebrating its TENTH delicious season. This Saturday morning tradition brings you fresh fruits and veggies, picked within 24 hours of our market and brought directly to you by the friendly farmers who grow them.
Enjoy live music in a festive atmosphere, and discover a wide variety of edible delights, including homemade jelly, farm fresh eggs, nuts, honey, spices, and organic meats. You’ll also find an ever-changing array of gift and specialty vendors, selling everything from cut flowers and bedding plants to hand-painted artwork and small-batch soaps.

MAY 25TH MEMORIAL DAY MARKET 8AM TILL 12PM
Start your holiday weekend at the farmers market, shopping for fresh veggies and strawberries. Check the produce availability list, on the sidebar , and make your shopping list for this weekends holiday entertaining. And don’t forget to pick up meats, cheeses, bread, baked goods, pasta and more. WILDFLOWER FARM returns with Sheep shearing , and petting, along with Peggy’s one of a kind garments. Bring the kids and grandkids for a great photo op with the lambs that were born a month ago. Plan on breakfast or lunch at the market, choose from made to order omelets, Christie’s Jamaican , or La Fuente Mexican food or the Becker Brothers BBQ booth. And don’t forget to save room to start or finish your meal with some of the yummy baked goods at the market. MAY 18TH WELLNESS FAIR AND TWILIGHT RUN PACKET PICK UP 8AM TILL 12NOON
This Saturday is the 4th annual Wellness Day at the farmers market. There will be lots of good information on living a healthy life, and Christian Hospital will be doing diabetes tests for free. It is also TWILIGHT 5K/10K/1mile fun run PACKET PICK UP. If you have registered for the race you can pick up your t shirt, and packet, and be ready for the run that evening. If you have not registered, but know that you do not want to miss this fun event, you can still register. All of your favorite farmers will be at the market, with even more new spring veggies this week. (check out our facebook page to see photos of what was at the market last week.) We will have 55 tents up, so come ready to shop for produce, baked goods, meats, cheeses, and more. And plan on sticking around to hear the Ritenour Jazz Band, they will have you up at em, with their lively music. Our best food vendors will be glad to feed you breakfast or lunch, Omelets , made to order, Christie’s Jamaican Foods, La Fuente Mexican food, Becker Brothers BBQ, and our local Kiwanis club with a food booth! MAY 11TH AT THE MARKET
Our thanks to our many loyal customers who came to the market on opening day, in spite of the chilly weather. A good number of the farmers and food vendors sold out before noon, in spite of the weather, so we thank you for supporting them. You were rewarded with fresh produce, from our local farmers, as well as great food booths serving breakfast and lunch from 8am till 12noon. We welcomed several new vendors, Utterback Aquaponic Farm, Trail Lodge Tea, and PieCraft, and there will be several more new vendors this coming Saturday. Ferguson’s specialty bakery, Cose Dolci will have your kids and grandkids decorating a yummy cookie, for their moms for Mother’s Day at 10am. Irie Sun Band will be playing from 9 till 11, so plan on coming to the market early, shopping for spring produce, getting something to eat, and listening to the band. You’ll find the food booths in a brand new layout, they are clustered under the two victorian light posts, with picnic tables in between for dining and people watching! COME FOR THE FARMERS.
