Our thanks to our many loyal customers who came to the market on opening day, in spite of the chilly weather. A good number of the farmers and food vendors sold out before noon, in spite of the weather, so we thank you for supporting them. You were rewarded with fresh produce, from our local farmers, as well as great food booths serving breakfast and lunch from 8am till 12noon. We welcomed several new vendors, Utterback Aquaponic Farm, Trail Lodge Tea, and PieCraft, and there will be several more new vendors this coming Saturday. Ferguson’s specialty bakery, Cose Dolci will have your kids and grandkids decorating a yummy cookie, for their moms for Mother’s Day at 10am. Irie Sun Band will be playing from 9 till 11, so plan on coming to the market early, shopping for spring produce, getting something to eat, and listening to the band. You’ll find the food booths in a brand new layout, they are clustered under the two victorian light posts, with picnic tables in between for dining and people watching! COME FOR THE FARMERS.
